

DAY 1 Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, Excel Travel representative welcomes you and assists you through the immigration process. Modern air-conditioned coaches take you to your hotel of choice in Cairo. Your representative will ensure a smooth hotel check-in. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 2 Cairo
Today after breakfast we drive out and into downtown to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. It would be impossible to see all of the world's greatest collection of artifacts in one day. Under the guidance of our knowledgeable Egyptologist, enjoy the many highlights of ancient Egypt. A journey into Egypt's past continues with a visit to the famous Pyramids. The three pyramids Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure were built some 4500 years ago. The Sphinx the mysterious statue, half lion, half man and the pyramids have kept many secrets to themselves. Return to the hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Cairo
DAY 3 Bahariya Oasis
Meet your Safari Guide at your hotel lobby in the morning. Hop onto your 4x4 vehicle that drives you on the Bahariya desert road towards the Bahariya Oasis. En-route you visit the Wadi Al Hitan, the Valley of the Whales, where 40 million old whale skeletons are found. This is designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Lunch is also served along the way. Dinner awaits you at the campsite Overnight at the Camp.
DAY 4 Bahariya Oasis
Wake up to breakfast this morning, following which the vehicle is loaded with the camping gear and we continue driving down south along the ancient caravan route of Darb Wadi Al Rayyan onwards to the Bahariya Oasis. Wadi Rayyan is a protected area and is also the gate to the Western Desert. Enjoy a lovely picnic lunch at around midday. Arrive at Bahariya around sunset, and visit the ruins of the English House, perched on a flat hilltop and built during World War I. This is considered the highest point in the oasis. Enjoy the panoramic view of sunset over the desert and the oasis. Overnight at the hotel in Bahariya.
DAY 5 Black and White
Desert Camp Following breakfast this morning it's time to check out and drive towards the Black and White Deserts. The landscape is dominated by dozens of small black-topped mountains. The ground is overlaid by colorful limestone and basalt from the Eocene period. There is plenty of time to take shots of the Black Desert before traveling onward to the magnificent area of the Crystal Mountain and Aqabat. Aqabat, 'the difficult', is the name given to scores of rock sugarloaves surrounded by soft sand and powdered chalk. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 6 Black and White
Desert Camp Breakfast is served at the camp, following which you visit the sand dunes of the Aqabat area. The evening is spent viewing the dramatic rock formations in the White Desert. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
DAY 7 Cairo
This morning, you leave the White Desert and drive to the Farafra Oasis, the smallest oasis in the Western Desert. Here you visit the hot spring of Bir Setta and the ancient town of Qasr al Farafra. Enjoy a picnic lunch, post which you hit the asphalt road and drive back to Cairo via Bahariya. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 8 Cairo
Wake up to a relaxed breakfast this morning. The day is free for you to do as you please. You could enjoy the various sights of Cairo that you may have missed on your arrival. Else we strongly recommended you take a day trip to Alexandria and spend the day taking in the salubrious Mediterranean climes and the Roman architecture. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 9 Depart Cairo
It is time to leave for the airport in the wee hours of the morning as you are escorted for your flight back home.
